OverclockingPosted: February 21, 2005
I just can't get excited about overclocking (for those non-techies out there, it means getting your computer to run much faster than it's supposed to, which means you have to cool it down). Joystiq posted a story about someone who supposedly overclocked their PC to 7.2Ghz (probably by moving to Antarctica). But according to Moore's Law, we'll be there in about year or so anyway, so who cares? What's the rush, folks? Is this really worth doubling the Freon emissions of your neighborhood?
